At Birsa Seva Sansthan (BSS), we believe that sustainable development begins with empowered communities. Community empowerment is one of our core focus areas, and we work closely with local groups to build collective strength, promote participation, and foster leadership at the grassroots level.
BSS actively supports the formation and strengthening of Self-Help Groups (SHGs), youth clubs, and local committees—providing them with regular training, orientation sessions, and capacity-building workshops. These platforms not only promote financial inclusion and shared decision-making but also raise awareness on rights, entitlements, and social responsibilities.
Through these efforts, we aim to nurture confident and informed citizens who can drive local development, access government schemes, and advocate for their needs. Our vision is to build strong, self-reliant communities that are capable of creating lasting change from within.
