Birsa Seva Sansthan (BSS) actively engages in policy advocacy to ensure that the voices of marginalized and underserved communities are heard at the decision-making level. We believe that lasting change comes not only through grassroots action but also through shaping inclusive and progressive policies.
Throughout the year, BSS collaborated with civil society networks, government bodies, academic institutions, and advocacy forums to contribute to dialogue on key social and developmental issues. Our team participated in various consultations, workshops, meetings, and webinars to raise concerns, share field insights, and support evidence-based policymaking.
Our advocacy focus includes areas such as gender equality, social protection, environmental sustainability, child rights, and access to health and education. Through these platforms, we aim to influence policies that are people-centric, rights-based, and aligned with the principles of equity and justice.
