We promote quality and inclusive education so that children, youth, and adults have the knowledge and skills to grow, succeed, and lead empowered lives.
Education is a core area of focus for Birsa Seva Sansthan. The organization is committed to promoting equitable and inclusive education, particularly among disadvantaged and marginalized groups—including adult illiterates, street children, and school dropouts.
Recognizing the alarming rate of school dropouts—especially among girls in rural and urban slum areas—BSS has initiated several interventions to bridge this gap.
The organization runs non-formal education centers for children who have never been enrolled in formal schools and those who have dropped out. These centers serve as a stepping stone, helping children re-engage with learning and eventually transition into the formal education system.
Special outreach is made to support girl children and street-connected youth, ensuring they receive the care, attention, and educational opportunities they deserve.
Regular awareness programs, school-based activities, and community-level sessions are conducted to highlight the importance of education and prevent early dropouts.
Through these efforts, BSS aims to foster a learning environment that encourages curiosity, builds confidence, and lays the foundation for a better future.
